Reducing the impact of our activities Aximum

All our worksites and industrial activities are firmly rooted in their local communities. That being the case, Aximum is constantly striving to reduce the impact of its materials production, construction and worksite activities on local residents and users. This means not only improving our industrial processes to reduce their impact, but also engaging in local dialogue and enhancing economic benefits to maximize acceptance of our sites and projects.

Reducing the environment impact at Aximum

Reducing the impact of our activities

A policy of minimum environmental standards and an Environmental Charter have been drawn up and adopted across the Group. This covers a number of themes specific to each business, including in particular the following:

  • Water management
  • Airborne and waterborne discharges
  • Odors
  • Waste

Promoting social acceptance of our facilities and worksites

As well as taking steps to manage our impact, to secure social acceptance we need to listen to and consult with local residents and users to avert potential conflicts. Aximum uses tools to identify and locate various sources of nuisance and offers apps that facilitate communication between local residents and employees in the field.
The Group puts its worksite managers and superintendents, who are in direct contact with local residents and users, through training in local dialogue. This approach promotes ownership of this complex issue on the ground and ensures that our response is tailored to each local context.
