Protecting people on the roads

“S.A.V.E: Protecting people at work”

Every year, despite the prevention measures and campaigns already in place, there are an average of 5 accidents involving trespassing in road marker zones per week, and more than 800,000 roadside interventions. S.A.V.E (Vehicle Evacuation Alert System) is a patented system designed to guarantee the safety of people working in construction and other areas.

How does it work?

This innovative system is installed on Merging Lane Arrow trailers (MLA) or digital emergency arrows. This is an on-board system for roads with dual carriageways, which can be installed on our Aximum equipment at the factory or equipment already in service.

Accurate and reliable, this radar has a range of 250 m and is combined with an algorithm capable of analysing the approach of all types of vehicle. If a dangerous situation is detected, the system emits an audible warning signal 3 seconds before impact. The agents on the ground then have time to get to safety.
Day or night, S.A.V.E predicts the risk of collision, taking into account the speed and trajectory of vehicles, even hidden ones, and also takes account of traffic jams.

What is more, as S.A.V.E is an open system, other alert systems can be added, and additional options such as a camera or siren are available.

What you need to know about S.A.V.E

Developed by Aximum, this innovative system detects dangerous situations on dual carriageways. It warns agents with an audible signal a few seconds before the collision, with the aim of protecting those working in the field.
